Our LIVETOUCH DUO is the most compact FAP 45 dual-finger scanner available on the market. Its low weight and minimized size along with the low power consumption make it the first choice for mobile identity capture and verification. The LIVETOUCH DUO combines highest image quality certified flat and rolled fingerprints with a secure and encrypted connection between the scanner and the computer.
Incredibly compact
With a thickness of 0.51 inches (13 mm) and a weight of 0.14 lbs. (60 g) LIVETOUCH DUO is one of the smallest dual-fingerprint scanner on the market. Each component inside the scanner has been designed to get the most out of a light and thin enclosure for saving space and weight in portable jump kits or mobile devices.
Harder than steel
Equipped with a strong glass protection layer on the fingerprint sensor, the LIVETOUCH DUO is well protected against scratches. The protective glass not only ensures a hardness that prevents scratches from materials such as rings, pens or keys. It also makes the scanner very robust against abrasion from heavy use. Best of all, both hardness and abrasion have been confirmed by independent laboratories, test reports are available on request.
A stable connection
The USB-C interface of the LIVETOUCH DUO allows a fast and modern connection to the end device. Even after many plug-in cycles, the connection remains very robust and a faulty plug-in of the USB cable is no longer possible. In addition, the LIVETOUCH DUO is equipped with a stable strain relief that prevents accidental disconnection of the USB cable.
No edges, no gaps
A plane surface and squared shape allows to integrate LIVETOUCH DUO smoothly into all kinds of portable or mobile enrollment solutions. It’s four mounting points enable a firm mechanical fixation. Powered by the USB 2 interface, no external power supply is required to operate the scanner. Supported by the TOUCHLAB SDK, the integration into your application becomes most easy and with powerful features. And no worries about harsh environments: With an IP protection class of IP65 no dust and water endanger the function of the LIVETOUCH DUO.
