With its exceptionally compact size and intuitive operation, the LIVETOUCH PALM sets a new standard for palm scanners. For the first time, it enables the mobile capture of finger and palm images outside the police station.
Exceptionally compact
Weighing less than 1 kg and measuring 178 mm x 220 mm x 30 mm, the LIVETOUCH PALM is one of the lightest and smallest palm scanners. This makes it easy to transport and use for mobile capture services.
Intuitive user guidance
The LIVETOUCH PALM has an integrated color display for easy and reliable capture of fingerprints and palm prints. This guides the user through the scanning process, detects scanning errors in real time and displays correction aids.
The scanner is also equipped with two loudspeakers that provide user guidance with specific acoustic feedback.
Electronic signature and document capture
In addition to capturing fingerprints and palm prints, the LIVETOUCH PALM also enables electronic signatures to be captured using the integrated touchscreen.
Documents can be scanned directly on the image sensor up to a size of 127 mm x 127 mm. For example, passports can be captured and the MRZ read out. This eliminates the need for additional equipment for capturing signatures or documents.
Super robust
Despite its compact dimensions, no compromises were made in terms of the device's robustness. Equipped with a metal housing and protection class IP 65, the device is ideally equipped for stationary or mobile use in everyday police work.
In addition, the device has a protective glass to prevent damage to the scanning surface.
Highly flexible integration
The LIVETOUCH PALM has been consistently developed for mobile use. Power is supplied via USB-C or external power supply. The USB cable can be routed flexibly to the back, right or left. The integrated strain relief ensures a solid connection even in unstable conditions. A Kesington lock prevents the scanner from being stolen and a table mount enables the device to be attached quickly and without tools.
