The second generation of our LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact combines the benefits of a compact size with the ability to read fingerprints and documents. Designed for minimal power consumption, the scanner is ideal for integration into mobile capture systems.
Capture of Documents
Our LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact combines two modalities in one device: capturing flat or rolled fingerprints and scanning documents in ID 1 format. Thus, ID cards, driver's licenses or barcodes can be captured with the LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact. Document capture is facilitated by the flat support of the document, since focusing is not required and reflections or disturbing ambient light influences are avoided. In many cases, this eliminates the need for additional equipment to pick up documents.
Incredibly compact
With a thickness of less than 0.5 inches (12,1 mm) and a weight of 0.3 lbs. (133 g) LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact is the smallest tenprint scanner on the market. It’s volume is > 60% lower than LIVETOUCH QUATTRO. Each component inside the scanner has been designed to get the most out of a light and thin enclosure for saving space and weight in portable jump kits or mobile devices.
No edges, no gaps
A plane surface and squared shape allows to integrate LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact smoothly into all kinds of portable or mobile enrollment solutions. It’s four mounting points enable a firm mechanical fixation. Powered by the USB 2 interface, no external power supply is required to operate the scanner. Supported by the TOUCHLAB SDK, the integration into your application becomes most easy and with powerful features. And no worries about harsh environments: With an IP protection class of IP65 no dust and water endanger the function of the LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact.
A stable connection
The USB-C interface of the LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact allows a fast and modern connection to the end device. Even after many plug-in cycles, the connection remains very robust and a faulty plug-in of the USB cable is no longer possible. In addition, the LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact is equipped with a stable strain relief that prevents accidental disconnection of the USB cable.
Less is more
The LIVETOUCH QUATTRO Compact does not have a user interface in order to channel the communication between user and device to only one display. This prevents user confusion and extends the battery life of the connected terminal.
